My chocolate has turned white, what’s wrong?
If the stain is greasy, then you may have stored the chocolate at an excessively high temperature (over 22°C). The white is just the fat drawn to the surface. The chocolate is still edible. If the stain is in the form of crystals, then the chocolate has come in contact with water and the sugars have formed on the surface. The taste of the chocolate will have been changed. top

In general, dried fruit such as raisins, figs, candied fruits, and nuts can be used as well as fresh fruits. Fruits with a high water content need to be handled differently.
