Description: The Butegana washing station collects cherries from around 3700 local coffee farmers spread over the 24 neighboring collines. During the harvest season, Butegana processes more than 1250 tons of coffee. The region of Kayanza from which this coffee comes from, is in the north of the country, near the border with Rwanda.
