Description: Asodiett is a coffee producer association from Aldea Mash, Todos Santos, Huehuetenango. This coop is formed by 30 coffee producing families. Many of the families produce textiles in addition to coffee to sustain their families. The cooperative was an initiative of their community leader, founder and current president of the association, Macario Calmo. The idea came from the need for financial aid for them to continue the production of coffee and provide for the families in the town. Together they have achieved to get their coffee and name to be known and they also continue to receive support from different organizations to improve their quality.
