Chef Jeffray D. Gardner, known for pushing chocolate past where it is supposed to go, teamed up with Smog City Brewing’s Brewmaster Jonathan Porter, a master of balance, boldness, and beautifully built beer.
What they set out to do was not copy beer in chocolate form.
They chased the elements that make great beer unforgettable and rebuilt them in cacao.
Malted barley brings a warm, toasty backbone. Organic orange peel lifts the richness with a bright, citrus edge. All of it wrapped in smooth 55% bean-to-bar chocolate, crafted slowly and deliberately, because big flavor needs time to show up and say what it has to say.
This is what happens when craft meets curiosity and nobody plays it safe.
